YAY! it is April and time for another fun Lunar New Year Challenge.
Four amazing Sponsors, four amazing prizes.
Today I am sharing some inspiration from one of the awesome sponsors Altenew.
This card can be used for a Birthday or for just telling someone they are amazing.
I have created this card using Altenew:
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
On one of the Altenew Watercolor Papers, watercolor the entire panel using yellow, orange and red. Use the Altenew Watercolor Brushes for a smooth blending. Set aside and make sure to let dry completely before die cutting the Halftone Cover Plate.
On another sheet of the Watercolor Paper stamp these pretty flowers from the Flowering Dogwood stamp set. Make sure to use an ink that is made for watercoloring. We do not want the ink to smudge.
Watercolor the flowers using the Altenew Watercolors 36 Pan Set. Lots of colors to choose from, so use whatever colors make you happy. I am a pink and orange kind of gal. I watercolored the flowers using the Altenew Brushes, they are round and sure do make watercoloring easy.
I did not have the coordinating die so I did a little fussy cutting after the image was completely dry.
Add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to your card.
Stamp this pretty sentiment from the Tangerine Grove stamp set on white cardstock using black ink. Trim down and add it to your card using foam tape.
To finishing I mixed a little gold with water and sprinkled the card for a little sparkle. Make sure to let dry completely before handling.
