HAPPY FRIDAY blog friends. YAY! for the weekend. It is suppose to start raining tomorrow, which is good because we are having all the fires here in CA. It is so sad to see all the destruction caused by people and fire.
So today I am sharing a card designed using Spellbinders Paper Arts. I used the bee and sentiment banner from the 2024 Advent calendar and the background is also Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder.
Not too many steps to this card, so let's get started.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a panel A2 size on light purple cardstock and embosses it with the Dazzling Dots. Spritz the back of your panel with a little water. This helps the design from the embossing folder to really pop plus it loosens the fibers in the paper. I learned this from Kim Kesti. Adhere your panel to your card using liquid glue. Make sure your paper is dry from sprinting the back before you adhere it.
Die cut the adorable Bee three times and adhere the pieces together. I went with traditional colors but you really can use any colors and it will still be cute. Adhere the bees to the background using foam tape. Try to line them up the best you can in the center of the card.
Die cut the sentiment on a darker purple cardstock with the white backer and then adhere them to your card using liquid glue.
Yes, that is it. Don't you just adore these little bees? I must make more, they just make me happy.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have the most awesome weekend.
