Air Balloon Fun...

Happy Monday blog friends.. I had purchased the Spellbinders Paper Arts Advent calendar. I try and buy one advent calendar every year. This is my first Spellbinders one and I have to say it was pretty awesome. YES, I have opened all the days already. If you ask my husband, he would tell you that I do not like surprises and I am all about opening gifts as soon as I see them. Christmas gifts usually do not appear until the day of. YES, I am that bad, I have been like this since I was a kid. I used to peel the tape back and peak in and then place the tape right back... LOL HAHAHA.. 

SO, today's card was created with day 1 of the advent calendar. This adorable little air balloon. I decided that I needed to fill my card with them. 

I die cut these little balloons many times on different colors and adhere them together. It seems like it would have taken lots of time but it really did not. 

I also put just a hint of color on the base of my cardstock. If you look closely, you will see the green and pink. The color is very light. 

I added the balloons using foam tape for dimension. 

Next I mixed Copic Opaque mixed with water and splattered my card. One of my favorite things to do. 

Finishing with the sentiment HELLO die that also came with the balloon. 

So simple... right? This advent calendar is still for sale online. I have more coming soon, as I do have 24 days of goodies to create with.
