Happy Tuesday blog friends.. Today I am off to a late start. I have not been creating much these past few weeks. I have been busy spring/summer cleaning. You know you just have to do that every now and then. Funny how we accumulate things and they just sit in the cabinet doing nothing. I do not like clutter, so there you go a little something about myself.
So today I am mixing it up a little with Gina K. Designs Curved Floral Banner die/stencils and Pink & Main Missing You stamp set. If you are wondering about that pretty color cardstock, well that is the new The Stamp Market Wild Berry, Soft Berry and Meadow Green. I love their cardstock, it is one of my most favorites.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
On a piece of The Stamp Market Soft Berry die cut the Curved Floral Banner backer.
Line up the Curved Floral Banner on the backer and stencil the floral design. It is really easy to line up on a blank canvas. I used pinks and greens to stencil the color on.
Die cut the detailed Curved Floral Banner on white cardstock and adhere to the top of your stenciled design. You will see the image come to life with the white outline.
Cut three strips of the colored cardstock (pinks and green). I did not cut them the same width, I just cut them and did not worry about the side of them. Adhere the strips to the card base at an angle using liquid glue.
Add foam tape to the floral image and adhere it to your card base.
Stamp the sentiment from the P&M Missing You stamp set directly onto the card and partially on the colored strips in black ink. I used a MISTI so I can make sure that the full sentiment stamps.
Cut another thin strip of the green cardstock and adhere it under the sentiment using liquid glue.
A very simple card with this beautiful Floral Banner. Mixing and matching is the way to go for sure. You get more uses of your sets.
