Happy happy Monday everyone. We are so close to Christmas and I am so ready for it. I spent a few days stitching these fun Lawn Fawn cuties. I started with just creating one and I just kept going... LOL I love these patterns by Chari Moss. They are free on the LF website. So let's get started because this will be a long post.
Supplies used: (affilate links)
- Lawn Fawn: Knit Picky Petite Paper Pack
- Lawn Fawn: Winter Scripty Sentiments Stamp Set
- Lawn Fawn: Embroidery Hoop Die
- Pink & Main: Layered Circle Dies
- Lawn Fawn: Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Background
- WPlus9 Designs: Spring Wreath Dies (retired)
- Pink & Main: Super Fine Glitter Ice Rink
- VersaFine Clair Ink Pad Nocturne
THIS WILL BE THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL THE CARDS.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Die cut the Embroidery Hoop Die on white, light blue, light pink and light purple cardstock. You can find these patterns for each design on the LF website. Use embroidery floss and cross stitched the designs following the patterns.
Die cut the Pink & Main: Layered Circle Die that is the same size as the hoop. Die cut it four times. Add some foam strips around the hoop on the back and adhere it to the solid white circle.
Die cut the WPlus9 Designs: Spring Wreath Dies two times each for each design. Choose colors that flow with the design. Adhere the first wreath to the hoop using liquid glue. The second wreath add some glue to the top of it and rub your finger around it so the glue is thin and then sprinkle a little of Pink & Main Ice Rink Super Fine Glitter. Add some foam tape to the back of the wreath and adhere it to the top of the first one.
Die cut the flowers on colored and white cardstock, again coordinating the flowers to your design. Add 4 flowers to each wreath. Use a glue pen on the top of each flower and add some more of that Pink & Main Ice Rink Super Fine Glitter.
Die cut four Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backgrounds on Lawn Fawn Knit Picky Petite Paper. Pick the designs that best fit your design. Adhere the backgrounds to your card bases.
Adhere the embroidery design to your background using liquid glue.
Finishing with stamping the sentiment directly onto the card. Use VersaFine Clair Ink Pad Nocturne for a clean and crisp stamp.
Merry Christmas...
Happy New Year 2024!
