Happy Saturday blog friends. Today I have brought out another oldie and I have to say I could make these snowmen shakers all day long. You can play with so many patterns when creating this snowman. I went with black and white... of course.
Card designed using:
- Jillian Vance Design: Sam E. Snowman Die
- PhotoPlay: Holly Jolly Stencil
- Pinkfresh Studio: Sparkling Rose, Sky Blue, Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Stencil this fun Holly Jolly stencil using Pinkfresh Studio: Sparkling Rose, Sky Blue, Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz ink pads. I used a light hand when blending the ink. If you look close I layered the color.
I took out my scrap pile and added some designer paper to the right hand side of the card. The strip measures 2 inches wide. I adhered the strip using liquid glue.
Cut another strip of the black and white designer paper measure 1/2 inches and adhere it to the right hand side of card. Make sure whatever designer paper you use for the thinner strip on the card that you have enough for the snowman.
Die cut the snowman die three times, one on white cardstock, one on acetate and the last one with the circle in the middle in the belly, this is the opening for the sequins.
Adhere the acetate to the back of the snowman with the circle cutout.
Die cut the snowman again with the circle on double sided sheet of foam tape. Peel only one side of the adhesive and add it to the acetate part of the snowman. this will create the space we need to fill the snowman.
Add a mixture of sequins in the belly. I went with smaller sequins, just because the space is smaller.
Peel the other part of the foam tape and adhere the solid snowman. This should close up your snowman and now you have a shaker snowman.
Die cut all the accessories for the snowman and adhere them to the snowman.
Add some foam tape to the back of the snowman shaker and add it to your card.
A little shaker fun and a super cute snowman.... right? Such a fun die set and will forever be in my collection.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a wonderful and happy Saturday!
