Happy Holidays Santa...

Well Hello November... yay! it is Christmas tree time. Yes, I put up my Christmas tree in November. I love celebrating the season for more than just one month. Plus who doesn't love having their home all festive.... right? I am back to Christmas card making now that Halloween has come and gone.

Today I am getting crafty with...

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

On a separate piece of A2 cardstock we are going to using the Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder but first let's add some ink to the embossing powder. Rub the Pinkfresh Studio: Berrylicious on the inside of the embossing folder but only on the top part that you will be embossing. We don't need the ink on the back as no one will see that part. Run the Peppermint Stripes Embossing Folder thought your die cutting machine. Now let's do that again but with the Bubble Gum ink and we also want to turn your paper 80 degrees so it embosses the other way when we run it through. Make sure to clean your embossing folder from all the left over ink. I use rubbing alcohol to clean inks on plastic surfaces. It works great.

Adhere your fun background to your card base.

Die cut all these fun gifts and the Santa from the Sizzix: Santa Activities Thinlits die set on pink, red, green, black. You can really die cut all these with whatever colors you choose. I went a little traditional. As you can see I die cut some of the images multiple times so I can create this scene that you see on my card.

Now that you have all your die cut pieces, it is time to adhere them all together. Let's also add a few of those pretty Spellbinders Paper Arts: Spectrum AB Crystals for a little shine here and there.

With all the pieces put together, it is time to create your scene. You can always just line the images up on your card and use some low tack tape over the top of the images to lift and keep them in place so you can add your adhesive. Whatever works great for you. I added liquid glue to the gifts and foam tape to the Santa and the truck for a little dimension.

Stamp the Honey Bee Stamps: Seasonal Sentiment on a piece of white cardstock using black ink and die cut using the coordinating Seasonal Sentiments Steel Craft Dies. Adhere the sentiment to the card using foam tape and liquid glue.

More Christmas coming all month and next month.... because it is just fun.... Don't you think?

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have an awesome Wednesday!
