Happy Thursday blog friends... I know I say this all the time but can you believe we are already half way through October.. Christmas here we come.. yay! My Christmas decor will start to go up the first week in November... yes, you heard me right. I love Christmas. But for now let's get to this card that I created. Today I am getting crafty with Heffy Doodle and I am mixing it all up on this card.
Card created using Heffy Doodle:
Created card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a panel of white cardstock A2 size and ink blend the Ranger Oxide Inks: Faded Jeans, Chipped Sapphire, Carved Pumpkin, Dried Marigold, Shaded Lilac and Dusty Concord. Start at the top and add the color as you choose or you can blend like I did. I alway start with the light color then the dark and repeat for each color. Make sure you have a smooth blend when blending into another color. Sometimes that requires have a light hand and lesser ink on your blending tool.
Die cut the Stitched Birthday Trio frame only on your ink blended background and adhere it to your card base.
Rub a little Black Soot on a glass top surface and use a wet brush to pick up the ink. Make sure you brush is not to wet. Now ink splatter your colorful background with that Black Soot. You can add as much as you like or as little.
Stamp out your images from the Let's Hang Out and Ghoulfriends stamp sets on a separate piece of white cardstock using black ink. Color the images using your favorite medium. Die cut the images using the coordinating Let's Hang Out and Ghoulfriends dies. Now create your scene, use some foam tape here and there but not on all the images. Just a few for a little dimension.
Stamp out your sentiments from the Ghoulfriends stamp set on a piece of black cardstock using embossing ink and heat emboss with white embossing powder. Trim down the Trick or Treat sentiment and then cut apart the sentiment so we can layer it up as you see on the card. Use foam tape only on the OR and liquid glue on the rest. Add the second sentiment on the lower part using foam tape.
Stamp a few of those fun images from the Let's Hang Out stamp set directly onto your colorful card using black ink.
Finishing with a few of those pretty Whipped Cream sequins.
Halloween is right around the corner and it is always fun to create CUTE Halloween card. I am not into the scary stuff.
