Hello blog friends... I am back with that cool PhotoPlay stencil that I bought recently. I actually just used the left overs from the card that I posted on Monday. I did not want to waste that fun background so here you go.
Card designed using.... (all links are affiliate links)
- PhotoPlay: Joy, Hope and Peace Stencil
- Papertrey Ink: Shaker Shapes Tree
- Pink & Main: Foam Sheets
- PinkFresh Studio: Eucalyptus, Begonia and Paradise Premium Dye Ink
- Taylored Expressions: Silver Glittered Drops
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a piece of teal colored cardstock A2 size and adhere to your card base.
I used the left over stenciled background from the card from Monday. I had die cut the tree out of it which is why you see the opening. So I die cut the open stitched tree again on designer paper and adhere it to the center, which fits perfectly from the solid tree that was die cut before. I added a piece of vellum to the opening on the back side.
Take a piece of white cardstock and rub some of the Eucalyptus pad directly onto it. Now add it to the back of the opening of your tree.
Stencil the PEACE from the PhotoPlay: Joy, Hope and Peace Stencil using Begonia and Paradise. Trim down and add some foam tape to the back.
Die cut a couple strands of lights and also just the lights on some colored cardstock. Adhere the lights to the strands and then to add the strands to the tree.
Add the sentiment to the tree.
Finishing with a few or a lot of the silver glittered drops here and there.
A very simple card and was mostly created using left overs.. how about that?
