Birthday Fun...

Happy Monday blog friends... today let's do little birthday fun. This is a set that we got from the Scrapbook and Cards Magazine Create and Crop Delivered. This set is from Taylored Expressions. We always need fun birthday sets... right? 

Supplies used...

• Taylored Expressions: Cake Walk Stencil/Clear and Dies
• Taylored Expressions: Skinny Mini Valentine Borders 
• Taylored Expressions: Skinny Mini Party Borders
• Taylored Expressions: Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets
• Taylored Expressions: Stitched Mini Slim Stachlets
• Taylored Expressions: Silver Glittered Drops

Create cards from colored cardstock 3 1/5 x 6 (mini slim)

Die cut the Petite Scallop Mini Slim largest die one on teal cardstock and one on white. Adhere the scalloped design to your card bases. 

Die cut the Stitched Mini Slim largest die one on white and one on pink cardstock. 

On a piece of 6x6 white cardstock, stencil the Cake Walk using colors that you love. You can go wild with colors when it comes to this set. Once you have stenciled all four stencils, use the coordinating dies and die cut all the images out.  Use a glue pen and add some glue there and there to the two images I used and add some super fine glitter. This will add a little sparkle. Once that dries add some glossy accents to the cake and make sure to let dry complete before handling. 

Die cut all these fun banners from the Skinny Mini Party Borders and Skinny Mini Valentine Borders on colored cardstock. I tried to pick colors that are in my stenciled images colors. 

Add those fun banners on the white Stitched Mini Slim you die cut. Trim off the access. Now add some foam tape to the back of this fun background and adhere to the teal scalloped background. 

Add the cake of your choice to the card using foam tape. 

Adhere the cupcake and the cake to the stand and then add some foam tape to the back and adhere to the pink stitched Mini Slim background. Now let's stamp some of those fun images from the clear set. Now add some solid sequins and a few of those silver glittered dots here and there for a little more shine. Adhere the pink panel to your card base. 

Birthday cards are always fun to create. I don't know if TE will be selling this set or it will remain exclusive.
