Welcome blog friends.. Today it is all about the pretty shells. I LOVE shells and have many that I have collected from the beach. They look really pretty in glass jars. Every time I see a pretty glass jar in Homegoods I am like that would be pretty with shells in it. I just don't have room for more pretty jars.. LOL So today I am filling my card with shells.
Card designed using Lawn Fawn:
- How You Bean? Seashells Add-on stamp set
- Stripes N Sprinkles 6x6 paper pad
- Outside In Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Stackables
- Prisma Glitter
- NUVO Simply White Crystal Drops
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Die cut one of the designer papers from the Stripes n Sprinkles 6x6 paper pad and add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to your card.
On a separate piece of white cardstock stamp out 7 of the shells that are grouped up together with black ink. Color your images using your favorite medium. I used Copic Sketch markers. I had to fussy cut them out because I did not purchase the coordinating dies.
Adhere the shells to the card base. Start in the middle and work your way around, until you have filled the card. I had to cut a few to fit in the inside of the stitched line.
Add a little white gel pen here and there to highlight the images.
Stamp out your sentiments on a piece of white cardstock using black ink. Color in the larger sentiment with the same colors you colored your shells. Trim down the sentiment and add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to you card. Stamp out the other sentiment and trim and adhere just as you did for the last one.
I used a liquid glue pen on the larger sentiment and then added some of the Prisma Glitter. Tap off the extra and let dry.
Finishing with a few of those fun NUVO Simply White Crystal Drops here and there. Make sure to let dry completely before handling.
Lots of shells on a card and I am one happy crafters.
That is all for today.
Make sure to stop by again tomorrow for another fun card.
Have a wonderful day!
I like pretty jars to put things in too! Super cute card, love the colors!
