Happy Wednesday everyone. I am off to a late crafty start today but I did manage to create this very simple but fun card using just a few crafty goodies.
Card designed using...
- Lawn Fawn: Giant Sending Big Hugs die
- Lawn Fawn: Paper (Sunflower)
- Pink & Main: Paper (Construction and Salon)
- Concord & 9th Paper (Aqua Sky)
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a piece of white cardstock the same size as your card front.
Cut one strip of the colored cardstock listed above. I did not measure the strips before cutting, I just cut them so they are all different sizes. This adds to the card... don't you think? Now adhere the strips to the white piece of cardstock that you cut and then adhere it to your card base.
Die cut the Giant Sending Big Hugs sentiment on white cardstock three times and adhere them together. This will give the sentiment some dimension. Die cut the sentiment again on the Aqua Sky colored cardstock and cut out the BIG and adhere it to the main sentiment.
Add some liquid glue to your finished sentiment and adhere it to your card.
Just a few steps... a simple card with a simple way to send a paper hug.
Simple... YES, but don't you love it? I really like this color combo. I just grabbed some paper and went to it. I really never have a plan. Sometimes cardmaking can take me a while as I try to think of different designs. I have been creating cards for a LONG TIME. I don't want to bore you.. LOL
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a fantastic Wednesday.
So cute, Annette!
ReplyDeleteThis card is great! Love the colors and simple design. Good use of the die. Thanks for the how-to info, too.
