Happy Day blog friends.. Today's card was inspired by all the flowers that are blooming. I walk around daily and see all the color and it is just so peaceful. I went with a rainbow color theme.
Card designed using Taylored Expressions:
- Get the Word Out Sending Hugs stamp/die
- Buds & Blossoms Stamp/Stencil combo/die
Create card from cardstock A2 size.
Stamp the Buds & Blooms stamp directly onto the card base using black ink.
Using the coordinating Buds & Blooms stencils, line up using the stencils guides and blend the ink of your choice. Go wild with color or keep it simple.
I added some white gel pen on all the flowers just to highlight them just a bit more. I am a white gel pen junkie. LOL
Die cut the Bugs & Blooms dies on colored cardstock and adhere the pieces together to create these fun flowers.
Die cut a scalloped circle on vellum.
Stamp the Get the Word Out Sending Hugs sentiment using two different inks and die cut using the coordinating die. Die cut the sentiment die two more times. Now adhere them all together. This gives the sentiment dimension.
Add foam tape to the back of the vellum, but only where you know the sentiment will hid the foam tape from showing through.
Add your sentiment to the vellum also using foam tape. You need the dimension behind the sentiment so you can add the die cut flowers.
I am a big fan of the Taylored Expressions stamp/stencil combos. They make for pretty and easy cards. You can really change up the mood also by your choice of colors.
