Todays card was created using Heffy Doodle...Popping By Stamp Set
Cut a piece of colored cardstock same size as card base. Use the Lots of Happy Stencil and Embossing Paste to create this fun 3D background. Make sure to let dry completely before adding it to your card base. Once it is dry, adhere to your card base.
Stamp out these cute images from the Popping By Stamp Set and color using your favorite medium. I colored the images using Copic Sketch markers. (R17, R14, Y17, Y15, BG11, B01, BG15, R83, R81, W2, W1 and W0)
Die cut the images using the coordinating Popping By Dies.
Die cut the larger die from the Fancy Nancy Frames on 4 different colors of cardstock, 3 of the colors we will just be using the hearts to fill in the negative spaces of the circle. The main color, which I used was in the red family. I die cut the heart circle out and then used the Skinny Circle Frames dies to cut around the heart circle.
Now take those cut little hearts and fill in the circle, rotating the colors.
I took two of the colors center circles and cut them in half to place in the center of the circle. The lower half I used foam tape for a little dimension.
Now time to create your scene. Use foam tape so you have lots of dimension when placing your images.
Stamp the sentiments from the Popping By Stamp Set, one on colored cardstock and the other on white. Cut down the sentiment on the colored cardstock and fussy cut around the Happy Birthday sentiment. Add both to the card using foam tape.
Finishing with a little white gel pen here and there and a few NUVO Crystal Drops.
A happy and colorful Birthday card. I am all about color and for those who know me I am always adding bright colors to my cards. I always say, the more color the better. Color is just a happy thing.
Please join me again on the 23rd for another color filled card.
Have an awesome day.
