The sun is shinning and I am one happy crafter. I had an awesome weekend. We went out shopping, which is one of my most favorite things to do and the best part is I found some new clothes... yay! me. That was Saturday and on Sunday we got to spend the afternoon with our niece Paloma. She just turned 20 and I have to say we are just so proud of her. I love her to pieces.
Now, let's get to this card. I was in a butterfly mood so I created this card using Pink and Main...
- Dearest Friend stamp set
- Plaid Cover Dies Panel A
- Large Sentiment Strips dies
- Embossing & Watermark Ink Pad
- Peppermint Swirl Embossing Powder
- P&M Foam Tape
Pink & Main had everything I need to create this card...
Create card from cardstock A2 size. I used kraft because I had a different idea in my head when I started but as you can see it went another direction. LOL
Die cut the Plaid Cover die twice, once on white cardstock and once on a piece of designer paper of your choice.
Adhere the white border of the Plaid Cover die to your card base.
Fill in the negative space with the designer paper.
Stamp this gorgeous butterfly from the Dearest Friend stamp set on white cardstock using Embossing ink and then add your choose embossing powder. I used the NEW P&M Peppermint Swirl..... and I love it.
I fussy cut around the butterfly and then added it to my card using P&M NEW foam tape.
I stamped out my sentiment on a piece of white cardstock and then die cut one of the Large Sentiment Strips around it and then added it to my card.
That is my friends... a quick simple card with a gorgeous embossed butterfly. I think this satisfied my butterfly need.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have an awesome Monday!
What a pretty butterfly! Terrific card, Annette!
ReplyDeleteAnother excellent card! I love the way the butterfly is arranged on the card and your use of peppermint swirl embossing powder. Gotta get me some!
