Happy Monday! It is already June 6th. Does anyone have any special summer vacations planned? At this moment I do not have anything planned. I am sure we will do something. So until then I will vacation in my craft room. I created this card last week. I took part in the Pinkfresh Studio Create & Connect classes and go a few exclusive sets and this is one of them.
This card was created using Pinkfresh Studio:
- Handpicked Flowers stamp/stencil/die combo (exclusive set)
- Sparkling Diamonds die
- Ornate Circle Essentials die (exclusive)
- Inks Concord & 9th (Midnight, Oceanside, Aqua Sky and Honeysuckle) Pink & Main (Construction) Hero Arts (Green Apple and Fresh Lawn)
First I want to say I am loving the stamp/stencil combos. It is so easy to stamp the image and use the stencils to add the color. The stencils lined up perfectly well when I put on my reading glasses it lined up. LOL
After I added the color with the stencils I die cut the image out using the coordinating die. I set the image aside so I can create the background.
I die cut the Sparkling Diamonds background onto a piece of misc. card-stock and then adhered to my card base. I also die cut the Ornate Circle on white card-stock and added to the die cut background using foam adhesives.
Now time to add these pretty florals. It is one piece so I just added a bit of foam tape and added to the card.
This stamp set also comes with a few sentiments and two of them have coordinating dies, so I choose the once I could die cut. I actually die cut three times so I had layers to add for dimension.
When I finished the card I felt it was missing something so I added this strip of black and white polka dot designer paper. Now I am happy. I think it just brings the colors together and highlights the black in the card. What do you think?
That is it for today...
Have a wonderful Monday!
I saw this on FB, it's so pretty! Love those flowers and the way you've colored them!
