Happy June blog friends... today I am taking part in another fun hop with Scrap'n Stamp. Todays we are sharing Masculine cards. My husband loves the beach and wishes we lived where we can just step out onto the sand, so I felt this perfect for him.
I created this card using...
- PhotoPlay: A Day at the Beach stamp set
- Lawn Fawn: Palm Trees dies
- Lawn Fawn: Watercolor Wishes 6x6 paper pad
- My Favorite Things: Happy Patterns 6x6 paper pad
- Copic Sketch Markers: R24, R22, E00, E55, E51, B00, B01, B02, Y35, Y32, BG15, BG11
I started with adhering these two pieces of designer paper from the Lawn Fawn: Watercolor Wishes on the bottom and the My Favorite Things: Happy Patterns for the top. I adhered using Bearly Arts Precision Glue.
I then stamped out the images and colored using Copic Sketch markers (list above). This set has the coordinating dies but I did not have them so I cut them using my Brother Scan n Cut machine.
Next I die cut the palm trees from the Lawn Fawn Palm Tree dies.
Now time to create the scene. I started with the palm trees then the houses. I used some foam adhesives and some liquid glue. I always need a little dimension.
Finishing up with stamping the sentiment directly onto the card.
There you go a fun beach themed card for anyone.... but I made this for my man.
Now it is time to HOP.
