Happy Thursday blog friends.. Today I am on the Ink Blog Shop blog HERE and I am getting crafty with...
I started with cutting my card base on kraft cardstock. I always fold my cards using a bone folder so I get a clean straight fold. This card is measured at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2.
I started with stamping this fun border from the Decorative Borders stamp set. I used my Misti to stamp with. This helps me to keep my borders straight. I tend to stamp crooked if I free hand it. The Misti is my friend when card making.
I stamped the border 4 times. I started with the center and finished with the top and bottom. I did not line them up as I am not a line up type of crafter. Of course I need to add a little color, so I inked the centers with Copic Sketch markers (YG23, YG21, BG34, BG32, V22 and V20.
Finishing up with stamping these two sentiments from the Simple Sayings stamp set. I also thought that I need some bling on the card so I added some pretty pearls by adhering them using Bearly Arts Precision glue.
A simple congratulations card that for sure will bring a smile. Paired up with a colorful Ink Blot Shop Painted Sunset Envelope.
