Well hello blog friends... Can you believe we are almost in July and will be celebrating the 4th of July. Do you do fireworks? We living in a neighborhood that has a big block party so we will enjoy the fireworks they buy.. LOL They sure are expensive and I cant even image now with inflation these days.
Well let's get to this card that I created. I was inspired by the holiday coming up, so I created this card using Taylored Expressions...
- Starstruck (stamp/stencil/die) combo
- Full Circle Patriotic stamp set
- On the Block Happy die
- Lawn Fawn inks (Fish Tank and Lobster)
I started with stamping and heat embossing the big white stars. Then I used the coordinating stencils for all the other stars and sparkles. I added a little white gel pen here and there. This helps highlight the images.
I stamped the larger stars again on some designer paper and then cut only the inner part so I can adhere them in the center of the heat embossed stars.
Next I die cut the On the Block Happy die and added to my card using foam squares. I also added a bit of white gel pen.
Finishing up with stamped the Happy 4th of July sentiment on a white die cut sentiment flag. I also added this to the card using foam adhesives.
That is all for today.
They are finishing my roof today... I am looking forward to peace and quiet.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a fantastic day!
This is festive and full of fun!!
ReplyDeleteOoh! Great Fourth of July card! I like that HAPPY is the biggest word and the stars seem to be bursting off the card.
