Happy Cinco de Mayo blog friends... I thought it was the perfect time for a card full of tacos. I love me some tacos... my husband could eat them everyday if he could. I have to brag that I do make some good tacos.
Let's get to this card that I created.... it is a Lawn Fawn filled card that I created using
- Lawn Fawn: Year Nine stamp/coordinating dies
- Lawn Fawn: Let's Polka paper pad
- Lawn Fawn: Quilted Heart Backdrop die
- Bearly Arts Precision Craft Glue
- Scrapbook Adhesives 3l: 3D Foam Squares
- Copic: Sketch Markers
I started with die cutting the Quilted Heart Backdrop three times on the Let's Polka designer paper. I adhered the yellow to my card base and then had to do a little trimming. I started with the pink and cut ever other one and adhered it using Bearly Arts Precision Art Glue. I then cut the green, also cutting every other one and again adhering to card.
You got to have lots of color when celebrating a Latin holiday.
Now I stamped out 5 of the tacos from the Year Nine stamp set and colored using Copic Sketch Markers. I added a little white gel pen here and there and then die cut using the coordinating dies. I used some foam and liquid adhesives. I always need a little dimension, mostly when layering the images slightly.
Finishing up with this cute sentiment, also from the Year Nine stamp set.
That is it.... a colorful card full of tacos... I am now in the mood for tacos. LOL
Thank you for stopping by.
Have an awesome Cinco de Mayo!
