Happy Father's Day....

So not much as changed, I am still watching the Johnny Depp trial.. LOL I know, I know... this is nuts.... right? At this point I have to watch it until the end. I have too much time invested in it. Are any of you watching this? Well if you are willing to admit.. LOL

OK.... ok, let's talk about this card.  I just got this new Taylored Expressions: Hook, Line & Sinker combo set and I just had to ink it up. I have to say it is one of my most favorites right now. The fish are SO FUN. I love all the detail and patterns in the fish and it was fun to ink up.

• TE: Hook, Line & Sinker stamp/stencil combo
• TE: Mini Strips You're the Best stamp set
• TE: Mini Strips die
• TE: On the Block Dad die
• Lawn Fawn: Inks (Minty Fresh, Freshly Cut Grass, Butter, Forget-me-not, Sunflower, Moonstone and Apricot.
• White Gel Pen
• Bearly Arts Precision Glue
• Foam Adhesives

I started with stamping the base of the fish directly onto my card. You then use the coordinating stencils to add all the color. This set comes with three stencils that line up perfectly, so all you have to do is pick the colors. You can go wild with color and I plan to in future cards.

I then die cut the On The Block Dad die three times and layers and adhered together using Bearly Arts Precision Glue. I then added a little white gel pen here and there to hight light the letters on the darker card-stock and adhered the DAD to the card. 

Finishing up with stamping the Mini Strips You're the Best stamp set and die cut using the coordinating die and adhering the Happy Father's Day sentiment using foam adhesives to the card. 

TaDa... you are done. A simple card with lots of color and fine detail. Now I want to know who else just feel in love with this set?
