So Thoughtful...

Happy April blog friends. I LOVE the month of April. It is my birthday, my husbands birthday and our anniversary month. April rocks... Today I am sharing a card that I created using a gift card that I won from Altenew. So this is an example of those goodies.

• Shattered Cubes stencil
• Here for You stamp set
• Paint A Flower African Daisy stamp set

I started with this cool Shattered Cubes stencil. I used Lawn Fawn inks with this stencil. I had not used my LF inks for a while so had to make sure they still inked well and they sure did. This stencil is so cool,  you can actually create many different patterns with this stencil. It comes with two stencils and  instructions on how to use it 6 different ways. Pretty cool.... right?

I then stamped out my image from the Here for You stamp set. I colored this lovely flower with Copic Sketch markers and added a little gel pen here and there. Oh BTW is you need a great gel pen get the Pentel Milky Pop white gel pen. Comes in a set of two. I then fussy cut the image and added a little foam adhesives to the back so it would pop from my card. 

Finishing up with stamping the sentiment from the African Daisy stamp set directly onto the card. 

Oh yeah, I almost forgot those fun sparkly Drip Drops they are from Taylored Expressions and they are silver. I added them using Barely Arts Precision Craft glue. 

That is it.. pretty simple if you ask me. The stencil was fun to create with and of course adding all that white gel pen here and there is always fun too.
