I cant get enough of the Taylored Expressions layering stencils. They just came out with a triple slim layering stencil called In the Garden. This makes three mini slim backgrounds.
Supplies used:
- Triple Slim Layering Stencil In The Garden
- Ring Around the Words dies
- Big Thanks stamp set
- Beautiful Soul clear stamp set
- Mini Strips Flag dies
- Building Blocks Memories
- Mini Slim Rainbow Card Packs
- Itty Bitty Blender Brushes
These inks are not sold anymore but I do love using them still.
I started with the Triple Slim Layering Stencil In The Garden and the Pink & Main inks Surface Inks (The Park, Stop Sign, Barbershop and Street Sign). This stencil comes with 4 stencils so that makes it easy to add your color of choice for each layer. Once you are done with the stencils you can cut them apart and begin adhering them to your card base. I used the already cut TE Mini Slim Rainbow Card Packs. This makes for quick card making.
Now to design each of the cards with a fun sentiment. The first one I die cut the Ring Around the Words dies and die cut them three times. My colors of choice were White, Blue and Green. I used misc. card-stock for this. I then cut the sentiment part out of the green one and added it to the white one, leaving a hint of the white showing behind. I used only the blue negative parts of the die for the inner part. I adhered it all together with Bearly Arts Precision Craft Glue. I added a little bit of white gel pen on the sentiment. Finishing up with the YOU sentiment that was stamped, die cut and added using foam adhesives.
Next one is the yellow one where I just stamped the sentiment from the Beautiful Soul stamp set directly onto the card.
Finishing up with the green one where I also stamped the big Thanks sentiment directly onto the card and then stamped, die cut and adhered the remaining sentiment to the card using foam adhesives.
Three floral cards that were totally fun to create.
That is all for today.
Thank you for stopping by.
Have a day full of sunshine.
Cheerful cards, just wonderful!
