Happy Wednesday blog friends. I am off to a late start posting today but I managed to create one card and I could not wait until tomorrow to post it. Now we all have Valentines on the brain... right? It is all about hearts now.
Today's card was created using My Favorite Things: Party Penguins stamp set, More Essential Sentiments stamp set, Love You die, Full of Heart die and Black & White Strips paper pad. Lots of MFT all on one card.
I started with die cutting the Full of Heart background on one of the Alcohol ink and water backgrounds that I keep handy for a quick colorful background. I set that aside and made my card base from kraft card-stock and sprinkled some Copic Opaque before adhering the Full of Heart background to the card base.
I then stamped out this adorable penguin and flag and fussy cut around. Next die cut the Love You dies on some of the Black & White designer paper and adhered them to my card using the Penguin for the O. I felt I was missing something so I die cut the Full of Heart background again on white card-stock and adhered a few of the white hearts.
This card actually took a long time to create because I was watching the movie The Shack. It is on Netflix and I have to say it is a wonderful movie. If you get a change and have Netflix, you might want to check it out.
