Happy Thursday everyone. Who's ready for the 4th of July weekend... hands up. We have a neighborhood celebration on Saturday and well we get to have fireworks in the city we live in, so totally excited about that. I hear that our new neighborhood really goes all out for the 4th so excited to see how it goes.
For sure the right time to make a 4th of July card. Today I am sharing a card that I created using Taylored Expressions: Starstruck stamp/stencil/clear combo, On The Block Happy stamp and shadow die, Sketched Flag Background , Starstruck dies, TE Premium inks Blueberry, Guava and Salt Water Taffy. Lots of fun Taylored Expressions.
I first stenciled the St. Nick stars stencil on the background using Salt Water Taffy and TE bitty blender brushes. Then I stamped the Sketched Flag Background stamp with Blueberry and Guava inks.
For the On The Block Happy I used again the Blueberry and Guava ink to stamp out the Happy and die cut with the Shadow coordinating die. To finish up I die cut the Starstruck dies on white and Watermelon card-stock. For the larger star I stamped the Happy 4th from the Starstruck combo set.
Totally simple and totally fun to create.
I hope that you all have a wonderful 4th of July and stay safe.
Remember to smile.
Thanks for stopping by.
Terrific card, Annette! Happy 4th, have fun!
