Taylored Expressions: Summer & Glitter Release...

Who's ready for SUMMER.... Hands Up!

Today is Taylored Expressions Summer & Glitter release.

YES... to Summer & Glitter.... right?

How COOL is summer? First up we have one of the favorites from the On the Block collection, new to the collection is COOL and it has the Shadow die to coordinating. 

I first stamped out my background with all these fun and bright Taylored Expressions Premium inks. (supply list below) For the middle I stamped out the On The Block Cool on a separate piece of card-stock and die cut using the Shadow Cool die. I used some of the new Glitter Grab adding it to a one letter at a time so I can add All That Glitter Jelly Donut, Peapod, Cookie Monster and Lollipop to each letter and set a side to let dry. I stamped out one of the images from the Shades of Summer stamp set and trimmed down so I can add behind the OO of the Cool. Now that my On The Block Cool is complete dry it is now time to adhere it to my card and I do so using foam adhesives. 

Finishing up with the stamping the You're Super sentiment from the new Building Blocks Cool Additions and die cutting using the Building Blocks die. I also added a backer using the Mini Trips Backer die then added it to my card base right above the Cool. 

Did someone say Ice Cream? One of my most favorite things to eat. Taylored Expressions just released this Sweet Scoops Stencil & Clear stamp combo along with the coordinating Sweet Scoops die. Plus you need some fun new sentiments so we have the Mini Strips Hello Summer stamp. 

I started with stenciling these Sweet Scoops with the TE Bitty Blender Brushes and TE Premium inks. (inks listed below) I did a couple of sets of them do I could fill my background with them. The Clear stamp that comes with this set adds all the fun highlights you see in the Sweet Scoops. I musts point out that this set comes with two sizes and for the background I used the smaller of the two. 

My card base is TE Toffee Premium card-stock and I die cut the Pierced Lattice Cutting plate on some of TE vellum and adhered it to my card base. Next I added all the cute Sweet Scoops to fill my background. I went to the edges of the card so I had to trim a few on the edges. 

I die cut on TE Vellum the Hexagon from the Mini Trifold Hexagon set. I used foam adhesives to add it to my card base. I added the foam only in the areas where the image could hide it. Now time to use the bigger Sweet Scoops stencil but this time I only used the bottom part and die cut so I had the frame of the ice cream so I can add the new All That Glitter Lollipop using the new Glitter Grab to the image. Nothing like added some shiny glitter to your images. I set it aside to dry completely before added it to my hexagon. Finishing up with stamping the new Mini Strips Hello Summer sentiments and die cutting with the coordinating Mini Strips die and adding the sentiment of choice to my card.
