Taylored Expressions: 4th of July Release...

  Taylored Expressions has come out with the cutest 4th of July release that is NOW available.

YAY! for the Red, White and Blue.

My card is full all new Taylored Expressions. This card is featuring the new On the Block Brave stamp and shadow die, Building Blocks: Brave Additions, Starstruck (stamp, stencil & clear combo) and Starstruck dies.

Let's get started. I first heat embossed the Starstruck stamp using TE white embossing powder and then stenciled the two stencils using TE premium inks (ink list below) and Bitty Blender Brushes. The stencils line up perfectly and so easy to use when creating this fun background. 

For the On the Block BRAVE I wanted a used kind of stone washy look so I inked up one color at a time and stamped lightly. I cleaned off that first color and then inked up another and repeated the process until I had the inky look I was going for. Next I die cut the On the Block BRAVE using the new Shadow die. 

You always need a little sparkle so I die cut the Starstruck dies on some of TE Glitter (silver) card-stock. Finishing up with stamping the Building Blocks Brad Additions on some of TE Toffee card-stock using Blueberry ink and die cutting using the Building Blocks die. 

Now time to piece this card together. I already have the background done so I just need to add all the extras. Layers are good and so is foam tape for a little dimension. 

 

I am in love with all the new Taylored Expressions 4th of July release. Next up I am featuring the new Inside Scoop Freedom, Starstruck dies and Sketched Flag Background. 

This was such an easy card to create I first stamped this awesome Sketched Flag Background. I stamped only one color at a time onto my card base. I used TE Cherry Pop and Blueberry Premium inks. 

I die cut the double ended flag twice once as a whole on Blueberry card-stock and again just on the edges on some of Cherry Pop card-stock. I adhered the strips to the top and bottom on the flag die then heat embossed this new sentiment from the TE Inside Scoop Freedom stamp set.

We of course need more sparkle so I die cut the Starstruck dies on some of TE Glitter card-stock (red and silver). Now time to piece it all together. I actually used foam adhesives on all the stars for dimension and placed them here and there. Mixing it up a little. Finishing up with the sentiment.
