Land of the Free...

Yay! for Thursday and with 4th of July right around the corner it is time to start creating those fun 4th of July cards. Taylored Expressions just release a whole collection that I know you will love. I am sure you have seen it already and if you haven't what are you waiting for? LOL

Today I am getting crafty with the new Taylored Expressions:

- Uncle Sam Cling & Clear Combo
- Uncle Sam Stencil
- Starstruck dies
- Tag Stacklets 2
- Pierced Tag Stacklets 2
- Building Blocks: Brave Additions

I first stamped this adorable Uncle Sam background and with the clear set I added the ink to bring it to life. The clear set fills in all the color you just have to pick your colors. I used of course Taylored Expresions Premium inks... Peaches n Cream, Guava, Sea Salt, Oreo and Blueberry. Next I lined up the Uncle Sam stencil and added some Guava and Blueberry ink using TE Bitty Blender Brushes. 

Next I die cut these fun Starstruck on some TE Premium card-stock Blueberry and Guava. I set those aside so I can get all my other pieces together. I die cut the Tag Stacklets 2 on TE Blueberry card-stock and the Pierced Tags Stacklets 2 on TE Vellum. Next I stamped out the Building Blocks Brave Additions two once in Guava and once in Blueberry then die cut using the Building Blocks die. 

Time to piece it all together. I layered the tags and adhered it to my card base then added the stars and finished up with added the sentiment. 

I think I am now ready for the 4th of July. The fun part is thinking of the next holiday. Card making is just fun... don't you think?
