Happy Tuesday everyone.
Welcome to Taylored Expressions Field Notes 2 Kit Release
We are gearing up for spring and this new Field Notes Kit release is now available.
This kit comes with pre-cut watercolor paper so I stamped out this gorgeous floral image using Staz-on and colored with some misc. watercolors. TE offers watercolors and also sells the Karin Brushmarkers that would color these flowers perfectly.
I die cut the floral image using the coordinating die set that is also included in this kit and set aside. I stamped the Splatter Background also using Staz-on and then water-colored strips on for the background. In the negative space I added a piece of TE Oreo card-stock then I used foam adhesives on my floral image and added to the card to give it some dimension. Finishing up with stamping this beautiful sentiment that I trimmed and adhered with foam adhesives for more dimension.
You can see the black background coming from behind the floral image.
So many fun ways to create with this kit here is another example..
I love me some stripes so I cut some strips of TE card-stock (Toffee, Confetti Cake and Blue Corn) this is a great time to use those scraps. I adhered them using double sided tape and I only added them to half the card. If you have long strips just trim to the size of the card.
Next I stamped out this beautiful floral image and colored with Copic sketch markers. Yellow is one of my favorite colors and I thought it would really pop off this background. I die cut with the coordinating die that is included in the kit. I stamped a few of the splatters and this cool corner that also coming in the stamp set. The image was added using foam tape to give it a little dimension.
I cut another strip of TE Toffee card-stock and trimmed for my sentiment then added also using foam tape. Finishing up with a sweet bow using the Burlap string that we all love.
