Happy New Year everyone. I am starting out my new year with the Taylored Expressions Valentines release. I know you all are ready for some fun Valentines stamps, dies and stencils.... RIGHT?
Today I am sharing a card using the new Hearts A Plenty Background stamp set, Love from Max & Millie stamp and coordinating die set and Tag Team Valentine stamp set.
I stamped the background directly onto my card base but as you can see I used different colors for each heart so you know what that means. I inked up one heart at a time using lots of TE inks that remind you of the Valentine season. It took no time at all just had to use some Post It notes around each heart so that I was only inking up one heart with the color of choice. (supply list below) Next I stamped out this adorable Millie image from the new Love from Max & Millie stamp set and colored with Copic sketch markers then die cut with the coordinating die set. I wanted a few more hearts so I stamped the Hearts of Plenty Background and used the coordinating die set that comes with the Hearts of Plenty Background stamp set. On one heart I stamped this little Love You on from the Tag Team Valentines and the others I used as a float under Millie.
Next up we have the awesome new Heart of Heart Layered Stencil that I ink blended using TE inks on TE Jelly Donut card-stock. This comes with two stencils so before I took off the stencil I splattered a little Copic Opaque so it was only on the heart inked area. Make sure to let dry before adding the second stencil.
I inked up this new On The Block LOVE stamp with TE inks. (supply list below) I was going for an ombre look. I die cut with the coordinating die set. I actually die cut a couple extras and layered with the inked LOVE so it gave the sentiment some dimension. Finishing up with this sentiment from the new Building Blocks Love Additions stamp set that was die cut with the coordinating Building Blocks die set.
This card was created using the new Stencil Strips Love (this stencil set comes with 6 stencils) I used the hearts on this card with the TE Cherry Pop ink pad and my handy dandy TE Blender Brushes. I also added some fun strips of TE colored card-stock. How pretty is this sentiment? It is from Handlettered Love and die cut with the coordinating die set. I stamped the sentiment also using Cherry Pop. To give the the sentiment some dimension I die cut the coordinating die three times and layered on top of each other. You only need to have one stamped as that is the only one you will see.
There is lots more to see from this release so make sure to check out Taylored Expressions social media pages and if you follow the design team you will see lots of amazing inspiration using the new release. #tayloredexpessions
