Welcome everyone to the Taylored Expressions New Years release.
Today TE is releasing two new fun stencils and a new on repeat stamp set that you are going to love. Plus there is a new freebie with a $100 or more purchase.
To get started we have the new The Right Angle Layering stencil. This stencil comes with three layering stencils. I created a new years card using some wild colors on some of TE Toffee card-stock. I was going for a different look and I think I accomplished that... what do you think?
I used three of TE ink pads (supply list is below). You could actually use even more colors with this stencil because it is layered you can put lots of color on your cards. After I inked up my stencil I spattered a bit of Copic opaque. I think it brought the celebration side of the new years.
I wanted the same fun pattern on the Happy sentiment so I used The Right Angle layering stencil again but on some white card-stock and die cut the On The Block Happy out. I die cut a few time to give the Happy some dimension and adhered it to my card. Finishing up with the On Repeat New Years sentiment that I stamped out on some white card-stock and die cut this the coordinating die set.
Everything that I used is listed below and also available now for purchase just click on the photos and it will take you directly to that item.
Next up we have the new Party Popper Stencil... Don't you just love the name of this stencil... Party Popper, it is just so fun. This stencil comes with two layering stencils. On this card I used TE Lollipop ink with the first stencil and for the second stencil I used some Deco Foil Gel Transfer. Remember you got to let the Deco Foil Transfer Gel dry before you try to add the foil. You can use a heat gun or just set aside and let dry until it turns clear.
While that dries I stamped out these cut images from the Gus & Gertie stamp set. I color the images using Copic sketch markers and die cut with the coordinating die set. I also stamped the sentiment on a little strip of white card-stock.
Now that my gel is dry it is time to run it through my laminator. Remember to keep the pretty side of the foil facing upwards. How about that foil fun... I just love how it turned out.
The background is done so time to add the images. I used some foam tape to give the images some dimension. Finishing up with adhering the sentiment right below the image.
Everything used is available now...
Two new layering stencils.. are you in love yet?
