Christmas Cards in Batches...

We are already mid-October and I think it is time to get your Christmas card pile started. I tend to go for simple cards for Christmas because I need to make so many of them. I do not want to color a bunch of images just because it takes so long but don't get me wrong I will have some fun Christmas cards with coloring I will just not be making them in batches like this card.

This set of cards was created using My Favorite Things: Hand-Lettered Holiday Greetings stamp set and Mistletoe Cover up die set. I also added a little NUVO Jewel Drops Strawberry Coulis

Have you started your Christmas cards yet? Do you like to put a lot of detail on them or do you just make batches of the same? I am interested in what you do...

I die cut on some LF designer paper this cool Mistletoe background and the nsetiment I heat embossed white on some red card-stock. I did a little fussy cutting around the sentiment and added them to my card using foam tape for dimension. Totally simple.

Well that is all that I have for today.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. I think you've got the right idea to keep it simple when you need to make a lot. However, I usually start making time-consuming ones and then regret doing so because then I send out less cards. It varies but I usually send out a family newsletter and only a handful of friends/family get it enclosed in a handmade card. I try to alternate who gets the card and who gets just the family newsletter. So far no one has complained...LOL! Your cards are pretty...great colors!
