Yay for Saturday. Today I am sharing a card created using Lawn Fawn: Ahoy, Matey, Life is Good, Oh the Beach stamp sets and Fancy Lattice Backdrop die set. Mixing it all up today. Well really I created this card yesterday but posting today. I am thinking of the beach.... can you tell?
They opened some of our beaches but not the one that we go to so we are still just hanging out. The beach we go to does not have all the action that some have so that makes it a bit more peaceful. Crowded beaches... NOT FUN. just saying!
The background color was created using NUVO shimmer powders and then I used this pretty Lattice die on it. Stamped and colored the images using Copic sketch makers and did a little fussy cutting. I do not have the matching dies for these stamps but no problem... thank goodness for small precision scissors.
I thought I was missing something so I heat embossed Brutus Monroe Sand Castle at the bottom of my card. Got to have a little sand.. .right? I added the images using Scotch foam adhesives to give it some dimension. Stamped the sentiment, trimmed and adhered to card. Tada you have a card. yippee.. it was fun to created. I hope you like it.
