Coffee Loving Cardmakers & Divinity Designs Blog Hop...

Today I am sharing to cards using Divinity Designs Stamps: But First Coffee rubber stamp set. This first card I created a colorful background using watercolors. I created the coffee cup stains using a cup that was on my desk. I just dipped the bottom in some brown watercolor and well this was the result.


On my card base I added some fun black and white striped designer paper. I think it makes the color pop more... don't you think?  I stamped the sentiment on a strip of white card-stock and then added some pretty NUVO Crystal drops. Color, color and more color..... I just love it!


This card was also created using the Divinity Designs Stamps: But First Coffee rubber stamp set. This set has some great caffeinated sentiments. See the image below.


I created a Ranger Oxide ink background and then started stamping all these fun sentiments. I wanted them all on the card and well I fit as much as I can. LOL.... I also used a gel white pen to hight light the sentiments. I think it makes them stand out more.... don't you think?

    Beautiful cards and such great ideas! I have a watercolor swatch panel I saved, just not having a clear idea of how to use it. Love what you did with the simple sentiment strip! Also like the sentiments outlined in white gel pen....so striking!

    Your first card with the rainbows is so cheery. I love how your second card looks. The white gel pen on the dark background is stunning and really shows off the sentiments. It has a very artistic look. Blessings.
