You Make Me Happy...

Happy Friday everyone.. I have not made a card since last week. We went to Canada last weekend to visit with my FIL, he has cancer. Can I just say I hate cancer it is so common now it just makes me sad. We lost my moms husband in January. It has been a hard year so far. But with that being said I understand life and death and that we all will experience loved ones being lost. With God we can get through anything even death. 

But let's focus on this fun card I created. I was totally inspired by one of my design team members Jeannie Lieu. She created this card and I was totally inspired. 

But she did it much better then I did. I need more practice. I am not really a color pencil person. I know having good pencils is important but I bought some from Hobby Lobby just to make sure before I took the plunge and bought the good ones.

I colored on some textured black card-stock. I thought that might look cool but next time I would color on smooth card-stock. I think the color might be more bold like Jeannie's card above.
