YAY for Thursday... I have been watching my orange tree grow and I am super excited to see new blooms coming in that means more oranges. We have only got to enjoy one orange so far and I have to tell you it was delicious. I can't wait for it to grow big and fill with oranges.
So needless to say this inspired me for todays card. I am sure you already seen where this was going. LOL I had a stomach osier recently so I have to be careful how much acid that I eat and drink. Speaking of drinking I have not been able to enjoy my delicious coffee... now that is something to talk about. I mean come on coffee... it is hard but my stomach pain is really not worth it. I do miss it. This is what happens when you eat too much spicy food. Lesson learned.....
I love doing stamped backgrounds. You can go wild with colors or leave it traditional. Today I went traditional but it did cross my mind to do pink and purple. haha
I created this card using:
- Altenew: Simple Fruits stamp set
- Waffle Flower: Flower Circle die set
- Hero Arts: Acetate Sheets
- Mini Wish Confetti
- Tim Holtz: Distress Oxide inks Twisted Citron and Spiced Marmalade
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Happy Crafting!

Oh my word...this is AWESOME! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHow FUN is that confetti! I zoomed in to check it out and what a delightful surprise to see the flower die cut behind the shaker! This is such a cute card Annette!
ReplyDeleteWell done! I love the citrus theme as I have lime, tangerine, pomelo, lime and kumquat trees in my yard. I get so excited when they yield sweet fruit. When they bear a good bounty, I usually make marmalade or curd. Hope your crop is gigantic! I love the tiny fruit confetti...perfect for a citrus fruit shaker card.
ReplyDeleteI adore all things citrus!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet shaker card Annette!
