We had 3 tons of mulch that we had to take to the back
Planted 7 trees and 17 plants in REALLY HARD DIRT
This is one of the sides that will have really pretty rock.
If you can see in the picture it is really slopped and not fun to walk on.
Because we get so much snow and rain this is so the water stays away from the home.
So we still have to put our flag stone walk way, grass, rock and we are also making a walkway from the front to the back. We have 4 TONS of small rock coming today and 15 TONS coming next week. We still have two large trees to plant. I am feeling the burn let me tell you.
Well that is my fun or not but it will look amazing when we are done.
I will share more pictures later.
Now BACK TO WORK.
Slowly but surely, it'll come together! ;) We have been redoing/cleaning up our yard, too. Had an open top dumpster and just got rid of OVER 7 TONS of rock!!! Unbelievable what was lying in our yard! lol I just kept shacking my head...what were these people thinking?!...And oh yeah, 'feeling the burn' is right! lol ;) Hang in there and just think about once it's done! :) Happy landscaping!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like fun, for me I love working in the yard so I enjoy doing this type of work. Wow, looking at the middle photo your neighbors are really close, huh. I would definitely would plant some sort of bush for privacy, LOL!

ReplyDeleteIt looks wonderful. You must be out west somewhere based on the yard size and lack of grass. My parents house was like that.
