Well today I thought I would join in the Lawnscaping Challenge...One Layer sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. I mixed it up a little with some fun Lawn Fawn Stamp Sets. I hope you like it.
I colored the images with color pencils...thought I might give my Copic Markers a little break. I used to color with color pencils all the time. I just love how they look on kraft paper.
Recipe: Lawn Fawn Gnome Sweet Gnome and Just My Type, Prismacolor color pencils, Memento tuxedo black ink pad and Timeless Twine Raspberry Pink twine.
Well short and sweet today.
Thanks for stopping by.
LOVE the colored pencils, Annette! Ever since I was little, I've never liked coloring with markers. I'd always reach for my pencils and crayons. I guess that stuck with me, because I still don't like to color with markers ;). LOVE the way they look, but I'm not a fan of the boldness of the color. I'm a simple girl. Oh! And you've done so FANTASTIC with the one layer! They're so hard for me! Hugs!

Very cute, and love the addition of the twine and pencils on kraft. I have been a little hit and miss with my comments because I have not been feeling well, and sometimes it is hard for me to keep up on really bad days. A little while back I had a really bad week. Not feeling good at all. My fibromyalgia is very difficult to live and deal with. I hope you doing well. Hugs

ReplyDeleteYou're right; the color pencils do look super on the kraft paper. I need to get back to the pre-Copic days too. The subtle colors of the pencils give your card a vintage look that goes so well with the gnomes. Your card gave me a Christmasy-good feeling.
