Good Morning everyone and Happy Saturday. I made this card yesterday and at first was not liking it but my husband says it is cute. Now that I have stared at it for a while I think it has grown on me. We are always our worst critics. Just like when I ask my husband sometimes how does this outfit look...he says you look pretty. Then I look in the mirror again and say I don't like it... How many of us women do that.
Well this morning I was blogging and found a few challenges/link parties I am linking this card to. I seen that Stephanie Washburn is having a Inspiration Station by Stephanie Washburn link party. I am also joining in the challenge at CAS-ual Friday...Put a Bling on It.
Recipe: Clever Handmade by Heidi Grace Kress designer paper, Stampendous Elephant Love, The Alley Way Stamps Mad Gab, Memento tuxedo black ink pad, Copic Sketch Markers, Ranger Stickles, Neenah white and textured card-stock, Scotch advanced tape glider and Recollection foam adhesives.
Thank you all for stopping by today.
Hope you have a fantastic Saturday.
I am off to the Swap-Meet to get some great Greek Food.
Have a crafty day.
Hello Annette!
ReplyDeleteI love starting my day seeing such an adorable card!
Thank you for inspiring me and making me smile this morning ;-))
Cute!
ReplyDeleteYour hubby is right! I think it's sooooo cute... love the paper piece on the mama elphie...and the stickles on the red heart pops it out....
ReplyDeleteI love it! And we're totally our harshest critics - I find usually because I'm comparing my card to the idea I had, and not looking at it for what it actually turned out to be. If that makes sense.
ReplyDeleteLove these sweet little elephants, and the glittery hearts :) And Greek food...oh yum!
oh that's sooooooo adorable!! :)
ReplyDeleteAnnette:
ReplyDeleteYour cards just make me smile. You have such a way of showing how fun life is when the Lord is blessing your life. Your life shows through your art. You have a blessed life, and the art you make shows the world how happy you are inside. It's always uplifting and just makes you remember how blessed life is. It always blesses me to see your darling creations.
Have a blessed week, and don't be a stranger. We'd always LOVE to have you link up any time you want. We have double sponsors (two prizes) each first challenge/week of the month starting next Wednesday. This will continue (first Wednesday of each month) through the end of 2012 as long as God continues to bless. There's one week with NO sponsor(s), but we are trusting God. He always provides, and we are incredibly grateful to Him for this. Would love to have you stop by. You've been SUCH a busy girl. I pray for you every time I stop by and every time God brings you to my mind. Hope you are doing very well.
Keep in touch!
Hugs,
Karen

ReplyDeleteI am the worlds worst self critic....I can even start off liking something and then completely change my mind :0)
